A Long Beach Island Engagement Session

We. Are. Back. That’s right, my friends, the beaches and the parks are open, the sun is shining, and WE ARE BACK! It’s been four whole months without stepping behind the camera, and boy, I’d be lying if I didn’t say it had me in a total rut – what’s that famous saying? You don’t know how much you truly love something until it’s gone . . . definitely not an exaggeration. These past few months have given us the time to touch up our website, blog like crazy, and work on educational resources for other photographers, but what we’ve really been wanting to do most of all finally became a reality last night with this Long Beach Island engagement session.

The weather could not have been more beautiful (okay, maybe Anthony would tell you it was a little chilly, but he was the only one in shorts!). The LBI beach in Barnegat Light felt like it belonged to us, with the orange sun over endless miles of untouched sand. Kevin and I even caught the prettiest sunset we’ve seen in our lives on the way home, and pulled over to watch as it set in what felt like just seconds.

We love everything about these Long Beach Island engagement photos, from the soft orange glow behind Jenna’s hair, to the way the pink sky and sand nearly blend together as one, to how much laughter we captured (for real, my face was a little sore on the way home because these two had some pretty solid senses of humor).
