Beaches Turks & Caicos Destination Wedding

When we initially received Paxton’s inquiry for her wedding, we thought it had to be a scam. After all, how could a couple want to fly us out to Turks & Caicos to capture their destination wedding in paradise? Paxton and Nick would be having their wedding at Beaches, a breathtaking resort in Turks & Caicos, and when it came to photography, they wanted to take a little bit of New Jersey on their trip with them. As wedding photographers, we’ve had the honor of traveling to places like Rhode Island and Washington D.C to photograph events, but visiting Turks & Caicos has been our most exciting destination wedding venture yet!

After Paxton and Nick’s engagement session last year in Spring Lake, our excitement grew even greater, knowing how photogenic this duo is. Every angle is Paxton and Nick’s good angle, and the cameras absolutely love them! The first event of this Turks & Caicos destination wedding was the welcome cocktail hour. This was one of our favorite parts of the trip, as it gave us the chance to mix and mingle with the guests, getting to know the couple’s family and friends before the big day. By the time the wedding day arrived, we felt as though we had made friends which made capturing the party all the more fun!

Paxton and Nick held their ceremony under a stunning, vibrant floral arch in front of the teal, crystal ocean. On the white sand of the Beaches shoreline, they took their vows before a dreamy beachfront cocktail hour during sunset. We journeyed around the expansive Beaches Turks & Caicos resort, taking portraits near palm trees and tropical plants. The guests dances the night away on the Key West Village lawn, under romantic string lights, before releasing sky lanterns during their after party bonfire.

Words truly cannot describe how incredible this experience was. Besides this wedding being absolutely breathtaking, in a photographers dream location, we are so blessed to have been able to spend the weekend with such kind, beautiful people. Paxton and Nick have hearts of gold, and their family and friends are a reflection of that. During dinner at the reception, Kevin and I looked at each other and said, “this group of people is just amazing.” Every single guest present was kind, personable, and fun. These are the type of people you are lucky just to be around, and we’re feeling super lucky.
