The Park Savoy Wedding

It seems that every wedding day has something that goes a little wrong, even if it’s as small as the anticipation of a 30% chance of rain, or the bride forgetting her custom hanger at home. After all, nothing is ever ‘perfect’ even though a wedding will always be perfect in its own way in the end. But Caroline and Anthony’s wedding? They must have some serious guardian angels looking after them, or maybe it was the good luck of it being my and Kevin’s 10 year anniversary, because this day was flawless. There wasn’t a bit of humidity, the timeline was so ahead of schedule that we finished portraits 90 minutes before planned and the couple got to relax and spend time together before their vows. We had so much stress-free time that we started taking pictures just for the sake of taking more pictures, and ended up with the freedom to get extra creative. The bridesmaids dresses were breathtaking, everyone looked beautiful, the Park Savoy was as stunning as ever with immaculate landscaping, the ceremony was both emotional and lighthearted, the party was so much fun. The closest we got to a hiccup was a groomsman almost losing a shirt button – but it popped right back on, so it doesn’t even count. Goodness, this day was perfect and I’d photograph it again and again if I could!
