Mountain Creek Resort Wedding

As Jersey Shore Wedding photographers, while we still travel the state on a weekly basis, it’s not often we find ourselves all the way up top for a Mountain Creek Resort wedding! In fact, it was our first time at this stunning venue, and boy, oh boy, were there mountain top views well worth the 90 mile drive! We first met Nicoletta and Alex at their Long Beach Island engagement session last year, and we love the contrast of going from the beach to the mountaintop. With it being a mid-October wedding (and on top of a mountain), we packed sweaters and winter coats in our car, only to be welcomed with the most beautiful weather I could fathom. To be honest, I was a little nervous going into this Mountain Creek Resort wedding, as I am terrified of heights and knew I’d have to ride a ski lift up to the ceremony space…but I am so grateful for the experience – not only was it not scary at all, but to ride peacefully along mountains, surrounded by the peak fall foliage was a view I could never get over!

Working this Mountain Creek Resort wedding on such a beautiful day, with breathtaking autumn leaves, gorgeous lighting, and a couple who may as well be models was a great working setting alone, but what made it even better was an excellent team of vendors! Whenever a new couple books us for their NJ wedding photography, along with our bridal guide, we also share a list of top New Jersey wedding vendors that we love to work with. A wedding vendor dream team makes all the difference in a beautiful, smooth, and fun day, and this team was a great one! Natalie of Lace and Rose Events was the absolute best to work with throughout the day, and you best believe if you’re looking for a day-of-coordinator, I will be sending you her way! We always love working with Posh DJ’s – they’ve never once let us down, are so communicative, and genuinely throw the most fun parties around. Evan made sure the party was a blast! Jesse of J&R Videography was so easy for us to collaborate with, and Thistle Bee Florist delivered stunning florals and the dreamiest ceremony arch with a mountain view. And, of course, Nicoletta looked straight out of a bridal magazine with an amazing glam squad – Hair by Danielle Miele and By Alyssa for makeup. What a perfect day!!
