Icona Diamond Beach Wedding

For an Icona Diamond Beach Wedding, the last thing you want to see on the forecast is rain, and boy, was this forecast not on our side. A week out predicted 90% chance of rain, then it went down to 60%, 40%, and with nonstop hope and prayer, we ended up with not only a dry day, but a sunny day! With the sun out and the perfect fall temperature, it was the ideal conditions for a beach ceremony and tented waterfront cocktail hour and reception.

When we first arrived in the morning, I thought Savannah’s getting ready slip and robe were a wedding gown! Of course, the stunning details of the day were to be expected, knowing from their engagement session how lovely Savannah’s style is. The light and airy bridal suite was the perfect location for detail shots and champagne pops before a first look and private vows between rows of palm trees. If I didn’t know better, I’d have thought we were at a destination wedding! Savannah and Matt, always willing to try whatever poses we throw at them, rocked their portraits with lifts, dips, runs across the beach, and everything in between. It may have been a little windy, but the breeze worked in our favor for gorgeous and dramatic veil shots. The ceremony offered us our dream lighting, and the dance floor was an absolute blast!
