Cross Estate Gardens is quite a hike for us – I’m talking 100 miles each way – but we found ourselves there once again this week for Chelsea + Ryan’s autumn engagement session, and it was SO worth it. On the ride up, the skies went dark and the rain came down, cars splashing up mist and mud, and we were *so* nervous that this dreamy engagement photo session would be rained out. Chelsea + Ryan decided to trust that the skies would open up, and we’re so happy they did, because everything about these images makes our hearts sing. Surrounded by beautiful, glowy fall colors, you’d never know that Kevin was handing the duo their umbrella between shots, and that Chelsea had to tousle her hair to keep it from looking damp. Regardless of the rain, everything was perfect at this Bernardsville, New Jersey session – ESPECIALLY Chelsea’s breathtaking solitaire engagement ring!
